Meopham Garden Association
MEOPHAM GARDEN ASSOCIATION
Meopham Garden Association meets to promote interest in all horticultural matters by meetings, talks, shows and other activities. The association is affiliated to The Royal Horticultural Society, The Kent Federation of Horticultural Societies and The National Vegetable Society and during the year we book speakers from these societies to talk on various gardening topics. We usually meet at the Meopham Village Hall on the second Monday of each month at 8.00 pm and our meeting also includes a plant stall, member’s show (which is judged by association members), a raffle and refreshments.
During the year we have a Spring and Autumn show and arrange garden visits during the summer, a coach trip and a Christmas dinner. We also have a quarterly newsletter, which gives information and tips on gardening. Our experts are always willing to help solve your gardening problems whether it is on vegetable growing or ornamental plants etc. We welcome new members and visitors to join us at any time during the year.
